Trigun-Review (So Much Hype...)
26 Episodes. The 8th Volume Has a Nice Design For The Menu With a 1950's Newspaper Feel To It But The Others Are Barely Functional and Have No Extra Content,Save For Some Horrible Drawings(Art)... Ratings: Art/Animation: C The Art Is Bland and Reminds Me Of Very Old Comics. Some Shots Of Vash,Especially The Eyecatch That Show Him As "The Stampede" But Most Draw Him As a Stick Figure With An Odd Haircut And Very Linear Shape. You Can See Tons Of Lines and It Is Obvious Those Are The Sketches, Not Any Sort Of Animation Or Reworking. The Males Almost All Look Alike And The Female Character Are Female By Voice Only. The Special Effects Are Unimpressive. Unimpressive Defines My Opinion Of The Entire Series. Story: B- The Initial Half Is Just "Cliché" Far West Fanfare; Characters Have Obvious Nicknames, Water Is Rare And Bandits/Outlaws Roam The Landscape.Vash's Identity Is Kept Hidden For That Period and He Is Only The Shadow of a "Gunfighter"....
