Tower of Druaga season 1 and 2.

I decided to look up similar animes and watched a few that were fantasy/medieval starting with Scrapped Princess that I really recommend. I then went with a lighter anime, Ragnarok: The Animation.

 After those, I looked for a comedy that seemed to fit the fantasy theme as well and I decided to finally watch Chrono Crusade. Oddly enough, the Blu-ray version of the show came out right after I watched it and I can see why. I was expecting a comedy but after the first few episodes a truly dark plot starts to develop into quite the biblical-inspired angel-demon showdown. With an excellent english vocal cast this one you do not want to miss!

I found a hidden gem in Tears to Tiara (I might consider doing a review of this one and am actively looking for the soundtrack). I finished off my medieval feast with The Sacred Blacksmith; a short but quite enjoyable story with excellent visuals (and some lovely ladies).

El-Hazard: The Wanderers I read not to have high expectations since this is a retelling of the first OVA but I want to see it for myself. I am a big fan of the "Person in a strange world" type animes. So far at the start of episode 2 there is already a script flaw as Makoto says he wonders if the woman screaming was Nanami; except that he did not even know yet others were transported to El-Hazard with him (I would have given him the benefit of the doubt had he named Gennai since he was right next to him when when the sabotage occured). Further along in this episode he wonders if others from Japan/Shinonome high school could have been transported to El-Hazard so his assuming Nanami was there before he knew anyone is a huge plot hole!
