After some "Harem", tons of cuties, magical powers, tender moments, girl power and comedy it is time for Horror so my next anime is a recent acquisition (Right Stuff holiday sale) : Another .

After watching Sands of Destruction, a light action-comedy taking place in mostly deserts I decided to go all-out with the desert theme and watch Desert Punk.

El-Hazard: The Wanderers I read not to have high expectations since this is a retelling of the first OVA but I want to see it for myself. I am a big fan of the "Person in a strange world" type animes. So far at the start of episode 2 there is already a script flaw as Makoto says he wonders if the woman screaming was Nanami; except that he did not even know yet others were transported to El-Hazard with him (I would have given him the benefit of the doubt had he named Gennai since he was right next to him when when the sabotage occured). Further along in this episode he wonders if others from Japan/Shinonome high school could have been transported to El-Hazard so his assuming Nanami was there before he knew anyone is a huge plot hole!
