Ratings: Art/Animation: A+ This Is The Best Looking Anime Series I Have Seen So Far.Everything Is Well Animated,The Futuristic Designs Of Characters,Vehicles and Backgrounds Is Superb.I Had Always Loved Shirow Masamune's Art and Was Able To See Why This Franchise Is Considered His Masterpiece.The Classic Anime Looks Can Be Seen In Both Males In Females. Story: A An Amazingly Deep Story With Many Layers Dealing With The Worlds Philosophy,Politics and Espionnage In The Not-So-Distant Future.The Dialogs Are Brilliant and Many Pearls Of Wisdom Are Woven Into The Story.The Switch Between Debriefing Scenes and Action Sequences are Seamless.The Only Issue I Have With GITS1 Are The Stupid Scenes With The Tachikomas (Blue Robots) That More Often Than Not Have Little To Do With The Story and Has Childish and Annoying Voices.I Did Not See The Need For Humor In a Serious,Ambitious Series Like This.   Voice Actin...

(I Made Up That Joke and If You Can Guess Where It Comes From You Get a Cookie!) 12 Episodes (I Took Twice The Notes I Normally Do For a 26 Episode Series) Ratings: Art/Animation: A Wonderful Images and Character Design.Top Notch Animation,Even In The Action Scenes.Every Character Is Well-Detailed,Including Extras.I Was Very Impressed. Story: B+ More Than Your Typical Harem Anime, Yumeria Has Layers Of Emotions and Dark Secrets Slowly Unfolding Flawlessly Within The Story. While I Am Not a Fan Of The "Transformers" And Dream World Scenes,It Works Well With The Story.The Dialogs Are Amazing.I Cannot Count How Many Funny Lines I Wrote Down As My Stomach Burst In Half On Many Occasions. 26 Episodes.The 8th Volume Has a Nice Design For The Menu With a 1950's Newspaper Feel To It But The Others Are Barely Functional and Have No Extra Content,Save For Some Horrible Drawings(Art)... Ratings: Art/Animation: C The Art Is Bland and Reminds Me Of Very Old Comics. Some Shots Of Vash,Especially The Eyecatch That Show Him As "The Stampede" But Most Draw Him As a Stick Figure With An Odd Haircut And Very Linear Shape. You Can See Tons Of Lines and It Is Obvious Those Are The Sketches, Not Any Sort Of Animation Or Reworking. The Males Almost All Look Alike And The Female Character Are Female By Voice Only. The Special Effects Are Unimpressive. Unimpressive Defines My Opinion Of The Entire Series.   Story: B- The Initial Half Is Just "Cliché" Far West Fanfare; Characters Have Obvious Nicknames, Water Is Rare And Bandits/Outlaws Roam The Landscape.Vash's Identity Is Kept Hidden For That Period and He Is Only The Shadow of a "Gunfighter"....
